The town is named after Lieutenant Cox, who died here in 1798 after he had established a colony of Mags, who sought shelter in British territory after the conquest of Arakan by the Burmese.

World’s Longest Sea beach  Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Arrival at Dhaka International Airport & receive by our representative, transfer to hotel for check-in. Old Dhaka City. Dinner at Sung Garden restaurant and back to Hotel, Dhaka.

Day 2: Dhaka

The experience of visiting Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is overwhelming. What a city, love it and hate it, and that at the same time. You stand in traffic for hours, but you are amazed once in the old town. Welcome to the “Rickshaw Capital of the World”,  the old-fashioned, nostalgic bicycle rickshaw. Four hundred thousand of them are in Dhaka alone. We’ll make a trip by rickshaw through the old town, there is no better way to explore the city. It’s like being in a movie, so much happening, so much street life, so many street vendors, so many shops and above all, a lot of people walking through the narrow alleys of this overwhelming city.

Day 3: Dhaka – Chottogram

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out the hotel and drive to South City Chottogram the second largest city in Bangladesh. After arrival Chottogram Check in the hotel and lunch. After a short rest, we will go to Potenga Sea Beach, explore Potenga Beach and Chottogram Marine Drive, see hundreds of ships in the Kornophuly River, and enjoy the sunset on the beach.

Day 4: Chottogram-Cox’s Bazar

After breakfast check out of the hotel then driving around 3 hours to reach the Cox’x Bazar,  the world’s longest unbroken 120 k.m beach is one of the most attractive tourist spots in the world.  After arrival Cox’s bazar check in hotel and lunch. This afternoon we will visit Himchori Marine Park then visit Inani beach and enjoy the sunset. Enjoy the seafood BBQ in the beach restaurant.

Day 5: Teknaf Beach

Today we will drive seaside marine drive around 100 k.m. destination the Teknaf beach, where you will see hundreds of moon-shaped fishing boats waiting to go deep sea for fishing.  We have free time to play in the seabeach. This afternoon enjoy lunch in the beach restaurant. After lunch slowly drive back to Cox’s Bazar, On the way stop at several beautiful beach spots and enjoy the sunset in the sea.

Day 6: Journey to the Saint Martin’s Island

After breakfast we will drive to the Ferry port to take the ferry (three hours) to Saint Martin’s Island,  from the ferry you will see the beautiful Naf River which divides two countries Bangladesh and Myanmar, you enjoy the Bay of Bengal Sea, hundreds of seagull following your ferry and catching fish, you can give food to seagulls, they will see foods from your hand, you will also sea fishermen fishing on the sea.  In the afternoon we will arrive at Saint Martin’s island, which is a small tropical paradise surrounded by coral reefs. There are no roads, rickshaws, or cars, just palm trees, fish markets, beaches and a few turtles.

Day 7: Saint Martin’s Island to Cox’s Bazar

Visit the island in the morning, enjoy your free time on the coral island. There are dry fish markets, local markets to enjoy. We will take you to an island if time permits called Chara Deep! Here the coral is very sharp and you have to be careful if you want to snorkel! In the afternoon, take the ferry back to Teknaf and return  to Cox’s Bazar. Overnight at Cox’s Bazar.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast check out hotel then transfer to the airport for the flight to Dhaka and end of the tour.
