The town is named after Lieutenant Cox, who died here in 1798 after he had established a colony of Mags, who sought shelter in British territory after the conquest of Arakan by the Burmese.

World’s Longest Sea beach Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at Dhaka International Airport & receive by our representative, transfer to hotel for check-in. Old Dhaka City. Dinner at Sung Garden restaurant and back to Hotel, Dhaka.
Day 2: Dhaka
The experience of visiting Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is overwhelming. What a city, love it and hate it, and that at the same time. You stand in traffic for hours, but you are amazed once in the old town. Welcome to the “Rickshaw Capital of the World”, the old-fashioned, nostalgic bicycle rickshaw. Four hundred thousand of them are in Dhaka alone. We’ll make a trip by rickshaw through the old town, there is no better way to explore the city. It’s like being in a movie, so much happening, so much street life, so many street vendors, so many shops and above all, a lot of people walking through the narrow alleys of this overwhelming city.
Day 3: Dhaka – Chottogram
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out the hotel and drive to South City Chottogram the second largest city in Bangladesh. After arrival Chottogram Check in the hotel and lunch. After a short rest, we will go to explore the shipbreaking yards by river cruise on the Karnaphuli River, enjoy the sunset and night market visits. Night stay at a hotel in Chittagong town.
Day 4: Chottogram-Ramngamati
Morning visit to the largest sea fish market and manual wooden shipbuilding industry. Driver to Rangamati, enjoy the Tribal Cultural Museum and local tribal Marketplace. Walking around the old Bazar and the tribal residential area would be interesting. Overnight at the Hotel Parjatan Motel adjacent to the lake.
Day 5: Kaptai lake, Tribal villages and Buddhist Monastery
In the morning visit Beautiful Kaptail lake cruise for few hours. Next visit Bonorupa tribal market. After lunch we have a short rest in the hotel then visit tribal villages and Raj Bono Vihara. Overnight at the Hotel Parjatan Motel in the town.
Day 6: – Rangamati to Bandarban
After breakfast, we will leave Ranglamati for Bandarban. Around 4 hours’ drive we will arrive at Bandarban then check-in hotel or resort and you have free time. Enjoy the views from your resort, reading in nature, or two hours hiking to Hatibandha Tripura tribal village. Overnight at Hillside Eco lodge.
Day 7: Shangu River & Riverside tribal village
Today a beautiful cruise up the Shangu River in a small wooden (best available boat is less than basic but safe) country boat to visit Tripura and Marma villages. After lunch, you’ll visit the tribal cultural institute, Explore the Buddhist hilltop Jadi and Stupas and the tribal Local Market. Overnight at the Hillside Eco-lodge.
Day 8: Rural Tribal village to the longest beach
This morning after breakfast we will check out hotel then drive to Shoilopropat, Chimbuk Hill, and Faruque Para (Bwam tribal) village. After lunch, leave Bandarban for Cox’s Bazar driving around 4 hours. Upon arrival in Cox’s Bazar check-in hotel. Tonight enjoy dinner at the best seafood restaurant in Cox’s Bazar.
Day 9: Cox’s Bazar the world’s longest sea beach
After breakfast explore the world’s longest unbroken 120 k.m beach is one of the most attractive tourist spots in the world. We will visit Himchori Marine Park and have free time to play in the sea. after lunch have a short rest in the hotel then visit Inani beach and enjoy the sunset. Enjoy the seafood and BBQ in the beach restaurant.
Day 10: Teknaf Beach
Today we will drive sea side marine drive around 100 k.m. destination the Teknaf beach, where you will see hundreds of moon shape fishing boats stand in the bach. visit the Naf River, and view from the top of the mountain, Naf River divides two countries Bangladesh and Myanmar. This afternoon enjoy lunch in the beach restaurant. After lunch slowly drive back to Cox’s Bazar, On the way stop at several beautiful beach spots and enjoy the sunset in the sea.
Day 11
After breakfast check out hotel then transfer to the airport for the flight to Dhaka and end of the tour.
