Day 1: Arrival- Bangladesh National Parliament & Karjon Hall
Arrival at Dhaka International Airport & receive by our representative, transfer to hotel for check-in. After lunch, we have a short rest, and then we will start our first visit in Dhaka city to the Bangladesh National Parliament. We will show you the national parliament, one of the largest legislative complexes in the world. It is situated in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar. It is covered with pleasant views of the lake and nature. The architectural wonder and enchanting lights can bring you to peace and relaxation. Next, we will visit Dhaka University and Karjon Hall. Curzon Hall is a structure in Dhaka, Bangladesh, that has an extremely fascinating history. It was significant in many political battles and is today a vital part of traditional education. The University of Dhaka has a School of Science division, of which the Curzon Hall is a part thereof. Its massive structure stands as a monument to the heritage of education in the city. Thus a dream that did not come true for its creator became as important as its original purpose was meant to be. Day 2: Old Dhaka City – Lalbagh fort – Hindu street – Star Mosque & Armenian Church – Sadarghat Riverfront
The Lalbagh Fort from 1678 will remind you of the memorable art of the Mughal Empire. The fort still stood still like it were in great battles. You will see colorful mosques, tombs, and governors’ houses kept since the British period. You will see a mix of color and religion in the great Hindu Street. Hinduism is one of the oldest religions in the world. The Hindu street portrays the culture and lifestyle of old Dhaka unlike anything else. A lot of temples, symbols, and activities will make you purified after visiting the Hindu street in Dhaka.There are also facilities to travel by boat on this famous river. Capture the ornate designs and motifs of blue stars of Star Mosque in Dhaka. This 19th-century Mosque is a record-holding mosque in Bangladesh. Besides, you can walk into the tombstone of the Armenian Church. This significant holy monument gives a resurrection to the heart. If you need a riverside tour, Sadarghat is the best place for that! It also has the largest vessel terminal in the country. It is situated by the historical Ganges River merged with the Bay of Bengal. You can feel the 27 KM long river from the best view.
Day 3: Sonorgaon and Panan Nagar
After breakfast, we will drive for one hour to visit Sonargaon historic capital city. Sonargaon is one of the best tourist places in Bangladesh. It hosts the Bangladesh Folk Arts and Crafts Foundation, as well as various archaeological sites, Sufi shrines, Hindu temples, and historic mosques and tombs. This place is very popular in the history of Bengal as it has been the capital of eastern Bengal for a longer period. However, in the 17th century, the cards flipped and Dhaka became the capital owing to the decision of then Muslim rulers. Next, we will visit Panam Nagar, the most attractive and most visited tourist spot in Sonargaon. It was mainly a city of Hindu Merchants, however, it has been ruined in times and henceforth, declared as an abandoned city. This city’s architectural design was a combination of European style and traditional Bengal style. Initially, it was founded during the time of the British Empire in the 19th century.
